“Who knew an online Fat Loss Cooking School could CHANGE your life?
I decided to join the Winter 2019 Fat Loss Cooking School with a friend who was looking for some accountability in her journey. Little did I know, this was EXACTLY what I needed and just didn’t realize it.
I teach several group fitness classes throughout the week, but my nutrition was always on the back burner. I felt like I ate decent enough, but I also wouldn’t hesitate to consume a pan of brownies or tub of buttercream frosting in a really stressful situation. I felt sluggish and would often “crash” towards the middle or back half of my classes. Something just wasn’t right. I could never pinpoint why I always felt “off.”
Enter: Fat Loss Cooking School.
My friend Lindsay recommended Fat Loss Foodies to me. She convinced me to do Fat Loss Cooking School because I was like, “I can’t do this (calorie counting) forever. I’m going crazy.”
I learned how to get in tune with what my body was telling me. I got the tools I needed to figure out what I needed more or less of: water? protein? fiber? I changed one variable at a time until I identified whatever was throwing me off and corrected my course. I’d never paid attention to my body like that before - it was actually very meditative! When I was just counting calories, I would squash what my body was trying to tell me.
This program is about REAL and SUSTAINABLE change. I got so much more than physical results: a wider skill set to keep my HEC in check (Hunger, Energy, and Cravings), cooking techniques rather than recipes, a love of leftovers, and a better relationship with food overall.
“After a few months of adopting an FLF lifestyle, I no longer obsess about the scale and that arbitrary blinking number. I can’t even tell you the last time I stepped on one, but I can tell you, for damn sure, I dropped two sizes, and my clothes fit better than ever.
I don’t get sinus infections anymore. Like, ever. I’ve stopped sneezing my face off and burning through viles of Visine. I poop like a champ (come on, you were wondering), and my tummy only gets upset when I eat something that I’ve uncovered as reactionary with my new metabolic CSI skills.
I sleep better than I have in my entire life, even with a toddler in the next room, showing up at my bedside at 2 a.m. like a creepy Chucky doll to show me his boogers.
And you want to know the kicker? This is the first holiday season in my 32 years on earth that I’ve not only NOT gained weight, but have LOST weight and fat, and have remained steadfast in my healthy goals.
