I love drinking this shake after an intense workout to get fast fuel to my muscles and replenish glycogen stores. The addition of dates makes it quite sweet and has been giving me my pumpkin dessert fix so I stay away from the Pumpkin Scones and Pumpkin Bread at Starbucks!
This post-workout shake is such a lovely shade of pink, and when I shared this photo on social media, I got comments about how pretty it was! (Ha! I'm not alone!) Again, when something looks appetizing, we are more likely to want it and choose it, and it contributes to our overall satisfaction with the way we eat.
